Privacy notice

Last updated 11 September 2026

This notice explains what personal information Inalgesco collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. If you have any questions, email peter.berkeley@inalgesco.com.

What we collect

If you complete the enquiry form or email us, we receive your name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your message. We also record limited information about which pages are viewed, described under Visitor measurement below.

Our website host may also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, in order to serve the site and keep it secure.

Visitor measurement

We record which pages are viewed on this site, the page or search that referred you, the time of the visit, and the approximate area you are browsing from, so that we can see which parts of the site are useful.

We do not use cookies for this, and nothing is stored on your device. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not use any advertising or third-party analytics service.

Your IP address is used only to work out an approximate area at the moment you arrive. It is not stored. What we keep is the page, the time, that approximate area, and a one-way code that lets us tell one visit from another without identifying you or allowing us to work backwards to your address.

This information is held on our own server rather than a third-party platform. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: understanding how our own website is used. You can object at any time using the contact address below.

Why we use it

We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to continue a business conversation about ChillRail. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our business record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers who operate this website and our email system, and only so far as they need it to provide that service. We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email peter.berkeley@inalgesco.com.

If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
